Consumers in Germany appear to be extremely committed when it comes to taking advantage of the best bonus offers. Almost three quarters of German citizens actively participate in bonus programs, which is well above the European average. The loyalty sector has been rewarding its loyal participants for years and has now been honored for the fifth time at the German Bonus Awards.
Whether it’s points, miles or cashback, around three quarters of all Germans actively participate in various bonus programs. The German Bonus Awards offer consumers, experts, media representatives and VIPs a platform to recognize the achievements of an industry that has been inspiring numerous customers for years with its commitment, innovation and inspiration.
In total, more than 149,000 consumers took part in the voting in seven different categories. The programs of the year were awarded in the categories of shopping, travel, hotels, lifestyle, finance and cashback. For the first time ever, the best promotion was awarded in the temporary loyalty programs. For all other categories customers also voted for the best points-earning campaign, the best customer service and the best app.
